I need some input guys/gals.

I am thinking of buying some new recording software and was wondering if anyone here has used either Pro-tools 7.3 of Cubase 4 and which do you prefer?
I have Cubase VST 5.1 which came with my EMU-1820.
And if I do decide to switch to Pro-tools will it work with my EMU interface?
Any and all thoughts are appreciated.

Thanks, Olie

I would suggest Cubase Cubase Cubase. I absolutely LOVE this program. It's (fairly) easy to use and incredibly powerful. I initially had Pro Tools for M Audio and didn't like it. I had problems running it in stereo and there was lag that I just couldn't get rid of. Cubase has performed wonderfully and the bands I've record would agree (I hope)!!
