If you are a fan of the Beatles there is a book that is a MUST !!!! it's called "Beatles Gear. it list every guitar, bass, drum set, keyboard, PA, and how they got them, and tricks they used in the studio on every song they ever recorded. this book will knock you out. | ||

Hmmmm, guess I better be gettin' me a copy, ya think? Yea, Joey, I agree.I used to have a Hofner Beatle Bass. I really didn't think too much of it. I also had a Gibson EB-3. Really hated it. At the time I really prefered Fenders and Ric's, but was already Jones'n for an Alembic. Beatlejuice | ||

Beatle Gear is an outstanding book, in my humble little opinion. I think it's one of the "must have" Beatle books, along with the Mark Lewisohn books. As for Macca and Alembic, I can't recall ever seeing him playing one. I've seen him with the Hofners, the Rick, a Yamaha, a Wal, and Bill Black's original upright bass...but never an Alembic. |
