Series players,
I made my own 5 pin cable using Belden "New Generation" cable and Switchcraft connects. It works great, but I want to make another. I was wondering what the do-it-yourselfers are using for this.

Belden Cable

How about the connectors? is there anything better than Switchcraft? Any tips appreciated.
Thanks

I put this in a previous post. But I will be glad to post it again! I use Canare Star Quad cable with Neutric connectors. It makes a GREAT cable. You can buy the cable by the foot. Check it out at www.markertec.com. They even have the right angle 5 pin for the bass side too!

Thanks for the link Michael. DUH! I just went a checked that thread.

One question...you mention the wires not being color coded. How did you manage?

I am fortunate enough to have access to a meter that is made by Fluke. It has a continuity tester on it. It is just a matter of touching the ends to the tester and listen for the tone. I think most meters have this feature, but I am not sure.
