At the Pinkpop Classic edition 2007. On the bill were: The Janse Bagge bend (A dutch band), Raymond Van Het Groenenwoud (a Belgian singer songwriter), Wishbone Ash, Mink Deville (Yes indeed, the full band, not just Willy), Cockney Rebel, Marillion and Status quo.

There was no Gibson T-bird with Wishbone Ash, their bassplayer opted for a blue burst Five string Lakland. Further basses were a blonde seneties P-bass with The Janse Bagge Bend, a red Ampeg Baby bass and an equally red Rickenbacker 4003 with Raymond Van het Groenenwoud, a sunburst five string Fender Jazz with Cockney Rebel, a Black Fender Jazz with Mink Deville, a Black Warwick Streamer with Marillion and a brown Status headless four string with a cool red LED of a Rhino as used by the bassplayer of Status Quo.

It ruled. So many cool songs to sing along with and with it being a sunny day there wasn't really much to complain about.

So, now I'm home badly sunburned and shaking as my body is recovering from sonic overload...

I caught Wishbone Ash a few years ago in a small local venue. They can still rock.....

When I first heard the first cut on the first album, I liked Wishbone Ash. And while I liked the fourth album a lot, the second and third albums were outstanding, each in their own unique way. The second album, Pilgrimage, is still pretty cool. All four members of that band were great musicians.
