I have nothing against celebrating the lives of people who we admired but will "he would have been" never end. I mean come on people, will we keep saying if Elvis was still alive today he would have been 100. | ||

I believe the essence of this thread was geared towards the idea that it would be nice to remember those that have influenced us and now passed on, nothing more, nothing less... They were mentioned to remind us that life can unexpectedly be cut short. John(s) have influenced a lot of people and they could easily still be with us due to their age and is why age was most likely mentioned... but 148 year old Alfred Dreyfus (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alfred_Dreyfus), eventually everyone is put to rest. | ||
