it hard to believe that it's been 30 years since Lynyrd Skynyrd's plane went down (10-20-77) |

I have many fond memories of catching them live. Before they became headliners it seemed as though they opened for every band that came to town (Jacksonville). While I might enjoy the current line up my humble opinion is the name should have been retired. But what do I know? Sam |

Or, to put it another way, Back: alive, dead, alive, dead. Front: dead, alive, alive, dead, alive, dead. Half of them are gone, and it's a damn shame. For simple, straight-forward rock'n'roll, they were among the best. Sorry, I can't get behind the graverobber edition either musically or ethically. Peter |
