I just wanted to reference having had the pleasure of meeting Bradley (byoung) with his son Bradley Jr. and daughter Madison with a surprise visit at my Casa Luna gig last night. Kudos to them all for surviving being subjected to two hours of bass. ;) Yep, they actually stayed to the 'bitter end', from having caught me opening with a 'bossa noodle' (freshly stolen from the 'house music') to my second time through last song of the night 'White Christmas'. It was very cool to have met another Alembician in person. My 'suspicion' of the 'specialness' of being in the club as Alembic owners past, present and future was confirmed not only from them driving 1 1/2 hours to the gig, (not to mention their return trip), but also the fact Bradley *drove* from the Seattle area to the northern Cal Alembic get together. That speaks volumes to me. Anyway, this brings to mind we spoke about organizing a Pac Northwest Alembic get together. Roughly hashed out, with many details to get together and who knows when or where but, we're going to work on it and see what happens. If interested, step on up to the microphone and speak your thoughts. ;) More to follow and updates as they happen. Best Regards, Kimberly PS. Yeah, I'm playing White Christmas and it's not even Halloween, but from having gone to Home Depot last week and seeing all the decorations for sale, I figured if it's the holiday season for Home Depot, it must be time to start playing holiday season music. ;) Kimberly --- shaking her head and remembering when the holiday season started *after* Thanksgiving. Regards. |

Kimberly, We had a great time-- we even rode the ferry back. The kids really enjoyed the show, and the ferry was the perfect topper. Bradley |
