JPJ swears by his collection of Manson basses. I have never tried one, but they must be very good!

Was this one of the basses used in the Led Zep few days back?

They could be playing "In My Time Of Dying" as that was the bass Jonesy used live. I heard there performance went very well and Plant's performance was better than expected.

You are probably right, because on the video I saw Jimmy Page was playing slide with that guitar on IMTOD, as opposed to his Les Paul.Jimmy

Here is an audience vid of Kashmir. Not to bad of a clip, the camera was held fairly steady through out. You can tell that Plant was indeed singing well, and that the playing was good too. I'm thinking Bonham was enjoying the moment.

I love Led Zep but feel the gig was hijacked by all of the usual "non-entity" celebs. Most of them of course hadnt really a clue about what Zep are about. It really pisses me when die hard fans cant get a ticket because it is turned into a photo opportunity circus by these "special" i.e. "better than you or I" human beings!

The only surprise to me is that Victoria bloody Beckham and the spice girls didnt turn up..jeez!

In the vid clips you can clearly see camera operators on stage; so I'm thinking there will be a DVD of the show.

I guess there was some talk of trying to shut down you-tube by the Zep promo team for that very reason. (DVD sales)
Damn, I've seen the Zep long ago. Missed one, tour cancelled. When Plant's son died. As far as the photo-op, after 27 years you'd kind of expect it. Anybody who's anybody wants a piece of it. Now Posh doing Black Dog...oohh.
Or not. I'm with you, I'll wait for the local shows. For me the music never gets old.

Dtrice, you may be better ringing Hugh; I've spoken to him a couple of times and he's always been very helpful. He is in fact JPJs guitar tech as well and goes off on tour with him.
