Wow! What an amazing number! Thanks to those from the club here, Craigslist 'linkers', mail list recipients, newspaper ads, flyers, business cards, word of mouth and whatever else. Kimberly <---sniffles, looks all teary, accepts flowers, crowd roars, etc, etc. ;) Seriously, so many more people have seen/heard me play online, compared to those who've actually seen/heard me in the last year, it's not even funny. This really does say something for the opportunity potential of the online world. I've had messages from dozens of different countries from Asia, Australia, the Middle East, Europe, South America, North America and not to mention meeting those in my own 'backyard' of town and state. A Google search of my online Youtube and Myspace identity (bassplayerkimberly) brings up over a thousand hits, Yahoo 162, and Ask a dozen or so. One can only imagine what intentionally starting/implementing a 'brand name recognition campaign' would/could do to establish an online identity for commercial purposes.
