Saw Arlo Guthrie last night while he was in the area for his solo reunion tour. Overall the years seem to have been good to him. He played some classics, new stuff and a few of his fathers songs. There were also several sing alongs. I think his story telling and meanderings have improved over the years but I guess they should with 40 years of practice. :-) If you have the chance to see him it's a good opportunity to get out for a night of humor and music. Here's a repeat of a clever Arlo Guthrie story I posted around here a little over a year ago: Too Old? A couple of years ago I saw Arlo Guthrie at the briefly re-opened Avalon Ballroom in S.F. I was sitting upstairs in back next to Wavy Gravy. As Arlo was introducing "Comin' Into Los Angeles", he was reflecting on Woodstock, where he performed the song in the movie.
