Hey UK Alembicians,

I started working in London today for the next 6 weeks and was curious if anybody actually does live in this area, I mean, not JUST anybody (I figured that out!) but anybody from the Alembic forum, or even Alembic-owning-non-forum-members?

The company I work for is located in Soho. I don't know where I will stay (I am in hotel for tonight) but as soon as that's sorted out (if ever) maybe I could visit on one of the upcoming Sundays, just to say hello and meet? Unfortunately I don't have my bass with me on this trip, so I won't be able to bring it.

(Besides, if anybody would know a room for me to stay for 6 weeks, please, let me know.)

Cheers,
Hartmut

Hi Hartmut,

Yes, indeed, I live in London, and work in Soho, too. Would be cool to meet up one lunchtime or after work one day. I can't promise to have my Alembic with me (depends if I have a session or gig on the particular day we meet), but I can point you to some fun jam sessions.

I'm afraid I can't personally help you with your search for a room (I have a small flat, a wife and two toddlers!), but I can certainly ask around and see if anyone I know might be able to help you out.

Anyway, let me know where and when would be good for you to meet. Hope to see you soon!

Yours,

Karl

Hey Greame,

That would be fun! I just can't promise you anything at the moment as I will be working six days a week. I will let you know how it goes when I have been here for the first one or two weeks.

Karl, I sent you an email last night. Looking forward to have lunch with you! That is one cool band you have there!

Hartmut (and Karl)
I'm going to be in London for the nights of 15th and 16th April. If you're still around I'd be able to meet up then.

No, unfortunately (or fortunately for my family in Germany) I will be here only until the end of March. Unless anything changes. You'll never know.

Hi Hartmut,
I'm playing a gig at the Cobden Club in Kensal Rise on Tues 11th March, I will be playing my '07 MK5 deluxe. If you would like to come along it is invite only so I could put your name down, Its a members club so theres a £5 entrance fee. Let me know if you'd like to come.
