I've had my Little Bear going on three years this spring. When I first got it I was trying to compare tones with my Big Bear. With only one amp at the time and my being the only guitar player in the house, I would play one then quickly unplug it and plug into the other. As I was unplugging the Big Bear, I tossed the cord onto the chair that the Little Bear was laying on and heard the unmistakable sound of metal hitting wood. I panicked and grabbed the Little Bear, fully expecting to see a huge ding in the beautiful Koa top. I scanned the entire thing and couldn't find a single spot. I comforted myself by saying that it either hit a piece of hardware or maybe the table next to the guitar. Recently I was changing strings and found the ding. It's a tiny one right at the edge of the fretboard at the 9th fret. The flash makes the ebony very light and the ding really easy to see. In reality it's almost impossible. Just nice to finally have an end to the mystery.

Well... this guitar is obviously ruined. As a favor to you, I will take it off your hands. I know you don't want to split them up, so you can send the other one as well. |

It doesn't matter how hard I try NOT to ding my axe thay always seem to show up with some. The only "dings" I take credit for are the ones that happened when a bottle of Cuervo got mad at my wife threw my green Kubicki across the room! Sober Olie |
