i was wondering if wiring in an active/passive switch into my aguilar obp3 would affect the active emgs i got in the bass too. any help? thanks.

Neither EMGs nor an OBP3 would be found in a bass shipped from Alembic. The best places to get a definitive answer would be from EMG or Aguilar. EMG has some informative support docs on their site.

In general, though, I would expect the answer to be no, and that the wiring will need to be done carefully. Active EMGs contain a preamp inside the pickup that requires power to operate.

ya its my schecter sixer that i got all that in. i dont have an alembic just yet. i was thinkin of callin emg up an askin em tomorrow anyway, theyve always been pretty chillin.
