That's why we love show business.

Great story.

Jazzyvee:

"The Lone Ranger" started as a radio show in the 20s or 30s, I believe, and a TV series in the 50s with re-runs well into the 60s. The "Lone Ranger" was a Texas ranger (think cowboy cop) who rode around on a horse called "Silver" with a Native American sidekick named "Tonto", righting wrongs, catching bad guys, and doing good deeds for needy people across the American West. He dressed in fancy cowboy clothes and always wore a mask. When he was finished, he would just ride away and leave a silver bullet behind. Sort of an early super hero without super powers. Clayton Moore played him on the TV show.

Yeah thanks but I know who the lone ranger is, we had him here on tv when I was growing up. I just couldn't see why the clip was funny. I still don't?

Jazzyvee:

Maybe if the Lone Ranger was dressed in drag it would be funny on your side of the pond? (Either that, or I've watched too much Benny Hill!) lol
