I'm thoroughly enjoying those Deutsche Rockpalast clips...thanks guys! Some have great close-ups of Jerry's fingering. You can even see Lesh go to town on that Irwin "tiger"-style (nee' Tribute) bass. Not too much footage is available with that one, other than the Dead Ahead video chronicling the Dead's historic fall '80 Radio City run. I don't think Lesh played that bass at all much past '81. Harry Chapin live at Rockplast is one to see, Harry's guitar player and bass player play Alembic's, but the show is great on it's own if your a Chapin fan | ||
