pic 7 - cool trio
pic 8 - thyroidectomy would be needed for him

Pic 6 are matzos. You can get them at all good supermarkets over here Terry. I believe (but could be wrong) that they are Kosher as they used to sell them in the Jewish shop near where I lived in Leeds. very nice spread with butter (and I wonder why I can't lose weight)

The square shape is a bit unusual for matzes - they're usually round. IIRC, matze is the unleavened bread of biblical fame.

I was thinking of these ones Adriaan. They have a dark blue packet in the UK.

I was thinking of Hollandia matzes. Apparently, the Dutch way to eat one is with butter and sugar.

They even have an on-line order form (in Dutch) - not sure you can order from abroad though. The offer appears to be limited for the period leading up to Pesach - same as on this site.

Traditionally, I've only seen round Matzos at the Passover Seder table, those being know as Shmura Matzos. Both round & square are sold in my local but only the square is available all year long. My inner whiner says that either shape has historically had the same effect on my digestive system year after year.

Bill, I totaly agree; OY VEY IS MEER!! NICHT GUT FER MINE KISHKE.

You can find the Hollandia brand here in the Netherlands all year long and in most supermarkets, but only the round version.

If you're in the Netherlands all you need are stroopwafel.

I'm convinced. Pretty easy to polish off a couple dozen of those babies over coffee.

Hard to find in the states, and that's probably a good thing.

Stroopwafels are supposed to be the #1 Dutch delicacy that every tourist gets hooked on instantly, but I have a thing against caramel overdoses.
