Hey Kent,

I was wondering how it's doing? Did you find the flats that your were looking for, and how do you like the sound? My "Evil Twin" came with those La Bella tapewound flats and I just love them for the type of playing I do.

I've been ooohing and aaahing over "The Growling Tiger" since it was featured last year. I even saved it's pictures and made a screensaver out of them.

I'd really enjoy reading an update on it.

Sorry for the long delay in replying--I don't get to this part of the board very often. I've had the tapewounds on the bass for about 6 weeks now, and they are everything I thought they'd be--beautiful, warm, and round, but not too dark. I'm going to drop Tiger off at the Mothership next week for the RF mod--that nasty interference, while it comes and goes, seems to be on the increase. The mod worked wonders on my fretted Rogue--can't wait to be beep-free on Tiger as well. Next time you're headed to Santa Rosa, let me know--maybe you can see her in person!
