Sad day today, as the place where most of my concert experiences happened is due to be destroyed...

Saw my first ever concert here (Deep Purple), more dead shows than I can remember, and a ton of other bands....some truly amazing times were had in this place...

Yeah thats sad. Thats where I saw my first large concert, Steve Miller, which started me wanting to play bass. When I heard the bass and felt it shaking the place I knew what I wanted to play. Thats where most of my concert experiences were. Still have almost every ticket stub from them. Something must have been wrong with the ventilation system because it was always very smokey at those concerts and it made your eyes red but seemed to make the shows look and sound even better, ha ha

the only place more uncomfortable than the spectrum is the nassau mausoleum in ny. but the dead loved these venues. my guess is that since they were built into the ground as opposed to above, the sound was better? at least for bass?
no offense
they should have blown these 2 up long ago
