Hi All,
I wonder if anyone can recommend a good book on Alembics so I can understand the models and history? I looked on Amazon but the hits were all to do with chemistry. Yuk.
I do hope there is something out there, if not, then perhaps we should put one together ourselves ... there is certainly enough expertise here, and some great photos!

While not 100% Alembic oriented this book:

http://www.amazon.com/Grateful-Dead-Gear-Instruments-Recording/dp/0879308931

has some interesting Alembic info.

Good call on the Grateful Dead gear book! I really enjoyed reading that.
