I would also appreciate comments from anyone whom has seen the group in the '70's as well as the'80's. They never seemed to have run out of steam in my book. |

Howdy. I saw Queen on The Magic Tour of '86 at Maine Road in the UK. Was there at 6.30am and got right to the front, in front of Brian May. Status Quo supported them that day. The crowd sang Happy Birthday to Brian and he looked a bit embarrassed! They were awesome, Freddie was superb and was everything I'd hoped. My wife has never forgiven me for seeing them, although I tried to make it up to her by taking her to the Freddie Tribute Concert in '92! Fave song that day? 'Now I'm Here'. |
