Hard to tell from the pic on my screen, Harry, but I think it is darker. Almost like the blue in the "add your message here" bar. |

I think Jimmy meant the Bass of Doom on the Custom Archive, not the FTC threads. The picture of the (chrome finish) tailpiece shows off the blue windings very nicely. |

Adriaan, That was one of my concerns when I ordered the bass and you confirmed it. The string wrappings get lost in the wood. I guess I should have just ordered it in white. ;-) Keith |
