Can anyone tell me of a paint that can be used for shielding pick up and control cavities. I know Alembic uses a silver paint but I don't know if its available. I have a Music Man Stingray 5 that gets a buzzing sound. Its not the electronics because they were replaced with Seymour Duncan Basslines Pre-amp & pick up. The only thing I can think left to do is shield everything but I'd rather use the paint than foil paper

I've seen some shielding paint on ebay...
here and
here

I've been considering the same thing as the copper tape never sticks well enough.

I got mine from Stewart-MacDonald luthier supply. Their web site is stewmac.com. They have lots of cool tools, parts, and all kinds of stuff for building and repairing string instruments. I've had nothing but good experiences dealing with them.
