Question about placement of Demeter R...

I just picked up a Demeter Real Reverb as I have never liked the sound of the Lexicon MX200 that is currently in my rack. The Demeter manual says: "Never use this unit around strong EMF fields. Noise in the signal will result!" Does this mean I shouldn't place it next to the power amp in the rack? Any help greatly appreciated. Bill, tgo
