Reading up on this monster has gotten me all excited! Anyone have any experience with this beast? The review in Music Players magazine: http://www.musicplayers.com/reviews/bass/2007/0907_MesaBoogie_TitanV12.php says this thing lists for $1500, but I'm having a hard time finding shops that carry it since gc stopped carrying mesa products, and I have yet to see one used. |

Anyone know of a place I could try one out (at volume) in the bay area? |

You can call the folks at Mesa, I'm sure they'll be able to give you an answer ;-) |

Robin: Mesa is up in Petaluma, just a hop, skip, and jump from SF. My experience with them is that they are very friendly and helpful - sort of the Alembic of amp companies. I suspect they'd hook you up. Bill, tgo |

I've played around with one. They kick all kinds of booty. The basic sound is like a Mesa Boogie M-Pulse 600 but with two channels, more power, and a built in overdrive (that sounds fabulous) for each channel. It is one of the items on my list of preamps/amps to buy to have in my collection. |

I really dig the V12. If you haven't tried out the M6 (formerly the Fathom) yet you should. It's totally different than the M-Pulse series. It's got tons of muscle and an instant great plug and play tone. The mid shift knobs are very musical and all positions are useable. I've played through the head and the 2X12 combo kicks serious bootie. |

Zone Music in Cotati has a mint used V12 for $1200 with a 4 space SKB rack. Give them a call at 707-664-1213 and talk to Ben or Al. (Message edited by xlrogue6 on December 26, 2008) |
