They are now Moog Moogerfoogers - Bob Moog got the rights to the name back a few years ago. Actually, I have a few of the original Big Briar units.

What do you mean by the "modulator"? The MuRF perhaps? I've got the low-pass filter, phaser, analog delay, and CP-251 control processor. I love them, but you should realize that they are not true bypass, which may or not be a problem for you. They're great by themselves, but when you get more than one you can use them to control each other via CV (control voltage).

I have the low pass filter. It brings the funk y'all.

My only complaint is that it doesn't bypass the input gain stage when it is turned off. It adds an OBSCENE amount of gain to your signal when it is turned off. I fixed that problem by isolating it to its own effects loop with one of those 4 effects loop true bypass pedals.
