I have been an almost devout follower of the westminster dog show for years. even when i didnt have a dog! ok- i dont like the toy group- if it were up to me i would bring the zamboni out during their showing and flatten most of em... haha BUT- lets hear one for STUMP! the 10 yes 10 yr old sussex spaniel who one the grand prize tonight- interestingly enough stump was really sick a yr ago and almost died. he beat out some really fine looking doggies esp my favorite the giant schnauzer(ok all you old car 54 fans!) who one last year and a cool scottish elkhound who i thought was gonna steal the ribbon so this 70yr old dog comes in on a whim and cops first place- so here's a toast to the new first place geezer STUMP!

As someone who has had 2 St. Bernards, if it can't stand on it's hind legs & look me straight in the eye, it's not a dog. |
