i thought i seen it all... what a maroon,,, how could i turn down the FBI? i got this email today Anti-Terrorist And Monitory Crime Division. Federal Bureau Of Investigation. J.Edgar.Hoover Building Washington Dc Attn: Beneficiary, This is to Officially inform you that it has come to our notice and we have thoroughly Investigated with the help of our Intelligence Monitoring Network System that you are having an illegal Transaction with Impostors claiming to be Prof. Charles C. Soludo of the Central Bank Of Nigeria, Mr. Patrick Aziza, Mr Frank Nweke, none officials of Oceanic Bank, Zenith Banks, kelvin Young of HSBC, Ben of Fedex,Ibrahim Sule,Larry Christopher, Puppy Scammers are impostors claiming to be the Federal Bureau Of Investigation. There was a story on the TV last night of an older lady who has already forwarded about $6,000,000 dollars to a bunch of scammers such as these d!cks. Here grandson has been trying to talk her out of it for years. She still keeps sending money hoping that it will be the last payment. The TV channel set up a sting in London and nabbed just one of the network of bastards. The next day granny was receiving more emails to keep paying this time from New York. Granny was pissed at her grandson for messing up her hopes. Was it PT Barnum that said "There's a sucker born every minute". I get at least 4 of these emails a day in my spam mail. slawie | ||

About a year ago my baby sister called & told me that in March - June at the latest - she was going to pay off our mortgage, credit cards, & student loans, and take everyone in her & her husband's families to the Bahamas for a week. Refused to say where the money the money was coming from. They both quit their jobs & devoted themselves to "setting things up" for the huge fortune they have coming. In July, they moved out of their house & into a camper. In October they moved in with my parents. They've sworn it's none of these e-mails, and that they haven't paid anything, but I was there for Thanksgiving, & was checking my e-mail, and I read one out loud. My brother-in-law sat up looking dumb-founded - "You got that in e-mail???" "I get 3 or 4 of them a day, Dude." It still didn't sink in, though. Last week my Mom told me she said something to offend him (mostly unintentionally) & he went back to N.C to finally look for work. This is after a year. My sister is almost 50 & a college graduate. I get these regular, usually from Nigeria or some other African country.Makes interesting reading..I sometimes reply with a drastic superlative f*** **f you a***holes or word to that effect. There was a documentary on UK tv where these people have a couple of computers set up that automatically blast out thousands of emails per second to any one who has an address that is familiar to there search parameter. | ||

The problem with any response to spam emails (avoid doing so if possible) is that you have now validated your email address is correct. With this validation the spammers compile good email address lists that they then share and sell. IMO, it is best to avoid response. | ||

I get these about 2 - 3 times a day. I figured in the last month I have "won" or been awarded more than a $100 Million dollars. Now if I could just figure away to turn it into real money I could finally afford to buy several Alembics with some change left over. | ||
