Hi Ed, This is my Orion: http://store.yahoo.com/alembic/or5pur.html What can I say? Awesome Bass. Great balance, sustain, playability, and of course KILLER sound. It's shape is classic, it's sound and feel are state of the art. BUY ONE!!! Rami |

Ed, I love my Orion 5, best bass I've ever owned, period. No arm or neck fatigue when standing, great fit when sitting. Never played a fiver before this one, but it didn't take long to make the adjustment. My hands aren't neccessarily large and I can still fret chords across the fingerboard. I can't comment too much on the standard electronics (I have the Europa electronics package), but it appears Rami sort of likes it, LOL. Mike (Message edited by groovelines on October 29, 2003) |

Hey Ed, Here's my Orion as well. http://www.monotunesmusic.com/Orionpage.html I leave the truss rod cover off to make truss rod changes easier although I haven't had to touch them in a few months. It's got Elan electronics instead of the bass/treble controls. I do want to order a fretted version very soon. I LOVE THIS BASS!!! What is really special was that I was able to drive to Alembic to pick it up when it was ready. I was living in LA at the time. They are very playable!!! Because of the set neck, you have the best of a both worlds concerning neck thru vs bolt on. Here's a link to my other basses as well. http://www.monotunesmusic.com/Equipment.html Peace, Dino |

I've had my Orion-six for 3 1/2 years and love it. Can't beat the tone, it is consistant throughout the whole range of the bass. Wally |
