When it comes to adding a new pedal to the board, do you insist that they all face the correct way? Will you spend hour after hour Rubik's Cubing the whole thing to get the pedals oriented properly or will you simply turn a couple on their side or upside down? For years, I was the former. Tonight, I had to give in and turn my Frantone Sweet 90 degrees. Still not sure how I feel about it.

Sincerely,

A Man With a Lot of Issues.

Hum... finally someone with the same issues... :-)
Perhaps you should give your Frantone a 270 degrees turn now and see how it looks... How about that?

My old guitar pedalboard was HUGE (about the size of a smaller coffee table) double row, with some pedals on risers so buttons could be pressed without disturbing other pedal's settings...and yes, they all faced the correct way which seemed to be the best way to avoid changing settings with my boot...

My bass pedalboard is MUCH smaller and I want to keep it that way (the vintage typewriter case I put it in is perfect) so I could see a problem if I change anything...I'd be doing the Rubik's Cube thing; pretty sure a rotated pedal would drive me crazy...Tony

Do you curl your jumper cables clockwise or counterclockwise?

I am always paranoid of coiling cables inducing noise so I wear them long.

They are always pointing South though.

Jonathan, I don't have a pedal board but if I did I would want everything facing the same way. They would probably be in alphabetical order too.

How about making sure that all the batteries are loaded with the positive sides pointing the same way. Now THAT would be sick!

You still use batteries? Savage.

Godlyke Power-All

Whenever possible all the pedals face the same/proper direction.

Actually, I use one of these - and it always points in the right direction.
