I remember talking about this tune a while back on this forum and it came up again Monday night in a conversation I was having. It's not the fastest jaw dropping bass solo you'll hear but it had a major influence on my playing style. Probably why I didn't approach bass guitar in the tradition sense for my time, the 70's. I haven' sat down and listened to that tune in a long time; what a pleasant surprise! I loved Wishbone Ash from the moment I first heard the first cut on the first album. The first four albums are all great. And yes Martin Turner's moving bass lines are a big part of why they were so good; along with Steve Upton's drumming and those two beautiful twin guitars. Thanks for posting that. I'm gonna have to dig out Argus (my favorite) and give that a listen, it's been a long while.
