Could not sleep well last night and turned on the tube to find "The Last Days of Fillmore West" on my local PBS channel. Among featured groups were the Grateful Dead. At one point Jerry Garcia was playing a pedal steel guitar. I believe his main guitar was a Travis Bean, but I am not sure. I could not make out any of the other instruments. It was late (or early.) I believe this is just one of several episodes to play this summer. The Dead played Casey Jones and a version of Johnny B. Goode. (Message edited by 57basstra on June 03, 2009) |
