I'd love to see an Alembic banjo.
....it might not sound traditional but it would kick butt .

I don't know what instrument that is in the vid...maybe someone here can enlighten us.

well it just goes to show that you can play the blues on anything and that was very unusual.

I wonder if his classical teachers disowned h9m after that

Craig,

Thank you for sharering. I haven't known that Takeharu Kunimoto has joined with Buddy Guy. As Briant says, the instrument called Shamisen. It's three stringed fretless instrument. Shamisen players have been played only Japanese classical tunes for long years but some of them have started to play their own style recently.
