They've now blocked off the street....set tables up for at least 25 people..erected a HUGE Bouncy castle and are drinking large quantities of stuff!!
I'll need to go over and investigate before the Cops arrive!!
Now.........Can I compare a Fender and an Alembic in the Studio???

I can hear the groans from here!!!!!!!!

Have a great day everyone!

How about a band playing "American Tune " by Paul Simon, or "On The 4th Of July" by James Taylor, or "US Blues" by the good old Dead, or....

Better check it out George. Sounds pretty official what with the huge bouncy castle and drinkable stuff.

I'm Uncle Sam, that's who I am. I've been hiding out in a rock 'n roll band!

Wave that flag, wave it wide and high!

Happy Fourth, from Jerry and me.

Keith,
Sorry that I missed your call. We left at 3:30 PM to catch the "4th of July party to benefit the beautification of West Asheville".

We ended up in Black Mountain at around 8:00 PM for the fireworks... still easy to park when we arrived but it got quite busy after that. I wasn't sure you were heading there and didn't have your number with me :-(

Now thats gun control! To think the militias and rag tag soldiers used muzzle loaders back in the day, with little provisions and often without shoes.
I recommend David McCoullough's 1776 as a great informative read. (I prefer the audio version). A ripping good tale!

In unrelated news... There was a back-to-back Alembic sighting in Monterey at the city's Fourth extravaganza. The bass player for The Money Band had a nice Epic 5 string, which was followed by my Rogue. And the soundman claimed to have an '83 Distillate!
