Well let see, how this started, I drove up from South Carolina and was invited for a wonderful homemade Mexican dinner at Art's house (man he sure did a great job cookin it!) met his wonderful family and had a very warm and wonderful relaxing time there, then we went to Art's playroom downstairs where he totally tricked me into playing by teasing me with these exotic wood Basses of his which I tried to look away but it was just way too over powering, for my will was already weakened by just the site of those toys.
I must say though if you own a MK Alembic then you better check out Art's to see how the action is set up, One of the most perfect feeling and playing basses I have ever felt in all my years, it almost plays itself. I would of offered to buy it but I knew by the look on his face he was dying to extract it from my hands before I fell totally in love with it LOL!
Well anyway Art and myself both talked with Adam from Zoso the Led Zepplin tribute band of epic proportion and we were invited to come out to the show where we met up with Moderator Dave and we all got to watch a fabulous show.
Adam did a great job and is a very multitalented player, and played John Paul Jones like John Paul Jones including Bass pedals and all.
Well as the night went on, I found myself drifting down the years of Led Zepplin memory lane and caught myself drifting into a smile quite a few times and thinking about my pass, where I was and what I was doing when I heard Zepplin perform that song for the first time...Pagan Pink, Ripple Wine, Boones Farm, any Green springs etc...And I must say that after seeing Led Zepplin 8 times in concert I must say there were many moments duing my drift that I felt I just seen them for the 9th time, If you get a chance go see ZOSO well worth the fun , Thanks for the Invit Art and Adam it was fun.

Very enjoyable evening! It had been a couple of years since I had last met up with John; and it was great getting together with him and Art and Adam. The picture of the four of us was taken during the drum solo. And during Adam's keyboard solo, the singer came down to say hello to the "Alembic guys". Zoso draws an enthusiastic crowd here in Asheville, as I would guess they do everywhere. Highly recommended!

I'm sorry I couldn't have been there. It looks like fun. Zoso draws a crowd down here also. I highly recommend seeing them.

And Olie thanks for the heads up about the Lucky Charms. I'll keep them under lock and key the next time Adam comes over to my place.

There was a good crowd at the show. A great show to reminisce and sink yourself into what Led Zepplin was and continues to be through the magic of ZoSo. Yes it was magically delicious ;) As a multi-instrumentalist Adam was musically fantastic and a really nice guy too!

Guys, thank you for the wonderful comments as it was great meeting up with Art and Dave again, and John, I'm glad to know we brought back some great memories for you. After all this is what this act is all about.
Lucky Charms, hmmmmmm. No, don't remember any Lucky Charms but maybe that's a consequence of eating them. Short term memory loss, huh?

That's the first sign Adam, denial! You start with the Lucky Charms and next thing you know you're on the Coco Puffs.
