West Chester, about 5 pm October 1st. I didn't see it, but a friend who has my Alembic at the moment, David Yates, spotted it and thought it may have been another friend, Rijon Erickson, who owns a Spoiler, but it wasn't...

It could have been Matt Newman, a older cat with an old school Series 1 and an avid Turner buff.

We need to all get together and have a local Alembic and friends gathering.

Did you make the Bass Blast earlier this year? Dave was one of the organizers. He also designs the preamps that go into Fodera basses.. I'm trying to convert him to Alembic.. :-)

A Cincy Alembic gathering would be cool and I could probably make it if I have a gig-less weekend. Heck, my bass is already there!

hmmm I'm suppose to be in Springboro (south of Dayton) in February next year for some recording for the second Dexter Bracket project cd ( Dexter Bracket- shameless promotion). There is tenative dates set for work with a new drummer later this year but nothing set in stone.

Whenever I go to Springboro we always make it a point to get to the Montgomery Inn in Cincinatti. . . last time I had a pork chop that made me cry it was so good!

I haven't been to Cincinnati in years. I think the last two times were to see Jethro Tull on the river and King Crimson downtown.. I used to frequent a small bar called Ogden's off an alley near WCPO-9 where friends worked..

Hmmm, just over 5 hours from WNC up I-75 out of Knoxville. Why not start a thread in "Gatherings" and see where it goes ;)

I could probably line us up a place locally. Let me know what you guys want to do and I will help pull it off.

OMG that's my SUV! I can't believe I just now saw this.

I had been looking to find another Alembic when my wife was playing around on the o-plates site to renew her plates. Mine were due too and I thought hmmm, let's try 'ALEMBIC'. It's been a lot of fun answering the question "what does that say? Al Embis?"

I was intending to post a pic with my bass behind the car, but was successful latching on to a new one. So it just arrived yesterday and I hope to get the car and both this weekend, if our crappy weather cooperates!

It would be great to have a local gathering! I know an awesome recording facility in Ross that's great for parties.
