Dave was one of the organizers. He also designs the preamps that go into Fodera basses.. I'm trying to convert him to Alembic.. A Cincy Alembic gathering would be cool and I could probably make it if I have a gig-less weekend. Heck, my bass is already there! There is tenative dates set for work with a new drummer later this year but nothing set in stone. I can't believe I just now saw this. I had been looking to find another Alembic when my wife was playing around on the o-plates site to renew her plates. Mine were due too and I thought hmmm, let's try 'ALEMBIC'. It's been a lot of fun answering the question "what does that say? Al Embis?" I was intending to post a pic with my bass behind the car, but was successful latching on to a new one. So it just arrived yesterday and I hope to get the car and both this weekend, if our crappy weather cooperates! It would be great to have a local gathering!
