I have the 'Solo Piccolo' CDs in hand, and they'll be up on Amazon shortly.

Meanwhile, I wanted to put some more effect-driven material together, so here's what we've got.

1) Fire Fisher
EHX HOG

2) The Machineries of Joy
HOG, Moog Moogerfooger Delay, Moog MP-201

3) Brutal Bed
HOG, Wattson Classic Fuzz (Based on the Shin-Ei Super Fuzz), Moog MP-201, Moogerfooger Ring Mod.

Everything performed on piccolo bass.

I love it when hb3 posts music stuff on here...I'll be ordering more piccolo tunes when they're available.

Cheers, and keep up the cool work.

blush!

This stuff was designed more to play at a club -- more aggressive and louder. So I've got a couple different ways I can do a set now, either sedate or...like this.

Hugh -
I am a big fan also, I love the mood that you create. It makes me feel good.

The Brutal Bed image reminds me of someone I know, he's a Russian Blue but the picture is black and white - sometimes he is kinda cranky (can ya tell) :-D

Now that's funny. Are you sure he's a Russian Blue? He might very well be a Korat.

Not sure at all (got him from a rescue and that is what they called him) he has the same colored eyes and fur (white tip on his tail) as the one in your photo, he has a real big old jiggly belly.

Pets are great - they are better than people!

Here he is in the garden.

If you look up some pictures of Korats, you'll see that they have a very distinct look -- they all look almost exactly alike. I think the Korat face is wider. Mine is also huge -- twenty pounds!! Most Korats are supposed to be medium sized cats. They're good luck gifts given in Thai weddings, usually in pairs.

Just listened to Brutal Bed; it's got one of those melodies that gets stuck in your head and has you humming the hooks over and over again all afternoon.

Seriously though, I like all three a lot. I especially enjoyed The Machineries of Joy. I find that genre of music appealing; and Machineries is very well crafted. All three tunes show thematic balance and quality of sound. The tone, use of effects, and overall mood seems not too unrelated to my own project; though I'm not yet able to produce finished pieces of the quality that you are creating. Well done; highly recommended.

Dave -- thank you so much.

Also, the thing about "Brutal Bed" is...you start saying it to yourself, over and over, in a heavy metal voice.

Someone told me that song was "meditative" and "relaxing," and I love that.

Pauldo! I forgot, there is a test for determining if your cat is a Korat.

When you shine light into a cat's eyes, for most cats, they reflect red. NOT THE KORAT -- his eyes reflect green. Try it out!
