I hate to be the sap of the bunch but I'd just like to wish you all,wherever you are and whatever your beliefs,a happy and peaceful holiday.I sometimes feel like I shouldn't be here,for my dreams of re-joining the ranks of the Alembicians are as distant as when I first posted here.If I can hang on to my house in the the forthcoming 12 months I will have achieved a great deal. Times are tough but I hope I can still come here to dream!.In the meantime I wish all of you the very best for the coming year.May you find joy in prosperity and strength in adversity,best wishes to you all. Simon, You're not a sap (but I'm glad you went first -- just kidding!) and you know you'll always belong here, no matter what. I waited more than 35 years to get my first and only Alembic. Then it took 9 months before it was ready. Patience is a virtue (even when you don't have a choice) and everything eventually fell into place. Charles Art and Sam,thanks for the words of encouragement.These are choppy times it's true,but I'm genuinely happy coming here and reading about when any of my Alembic brethren realise their dream,it helps keep me hopeful and I wish the very best for everyone here.Plus,no matter how stormy it gets,there will ALWAYS be someone,somewhere going through suffering that I could barely imagine.Compared to that I'm lucky.Thanks again guys,I hope you're enjoying the holiday.
