Perhaps I might go Bill, pending some other circumstances and events ,despite the fact that I need to "Keep the monster on a leash" regarding my perpetual case of GAS. If the Monster senses a "Flock of Alembics " on the lose he might be tempted to acquire another "Rare Bird". There is a possibility that my friend Ron (owner and Tube Tech Specialist of UNCLE SPOT AMPS) might go as well.

I wanna go - Pick me, pick me!!! I have not even been to a comic book convention since I moved to the wasteland. I want to go back to civilization where there are actual events that are actually interesting! Ice fishing? Anyone for a rousing sit in a little shack staring at a hole in the ice? Gee, you don't know what you are missing . . . I would get majorly excited just to go to a big city pawn shop and cruise around.

Wolf:

Alembics are, not surprisingly, a rare sight at the show. A Series bass might show up maybe one out of four shows (2 years). I did get a sweet deal on a Tribute there last summer, and I saw Steve Miller's green California Special up there on consignment with the Guitar Showcase (San Jose) booth last year. Otherwise don't expect any. But there's always something rare, unusual, weird, and fun to check out. I ususually head up around opening @ 10 a.m. on Saturday morning. Then I hit it again on Sunday for the last hour or two. It would be cool to hook up.

Thomas: If you can get to Alameda, I can give you a ride the rest of the way!

Great, see ya in Alamada next fall. My prison term will be over, and I will be driving all around seeing all the wonders I have been missing for over thirteen years. Until then, have fun!

Used to be. It was one of the bases that was closed a few years ago. The island is now delightful without the military presence. And they film a lot of MYTHBUSTERS on the old base. Now beam me up, Scotty!
