The man can play. I was killin some time, having just killed my T.V. Looking around Youtube and I found this. Herbie's afro is superpimp. Lots of shots of Paul and he is just rippin' up the second half of this tune. It would of been cool if he threw down on a S1. Either way he has been my favorite electric player for most of my life. Best band ever! Oh yeah, no guitar. Sorry, Bill.

His son went to the same school that I did - the American School in Japan, an international school outside of Tokyo. Paul Jackson's wife if Japanese, and he lived in Japan and did studio and live work in the '80s, if not now as well. I remember calling him once - he was listed in the school directory - how audacious! His wife answered, said he was in the studio, so fortunately I left him alone after that! His son was probably in junior high when I was in high school, so there was no real connection or anything. Not sure why I did that - just a stupid kid I guess! I don't think I was even really aware of what a great bassist he is. This video is cool as well:

I forgot about that Jackson/Clark video. Man, it has been a long time since I saw that. Thank you for posting it. I learned a lot from it when I was a kid and now I'm going to dig into it again. Dig
