Could anyone recommend a set of extra long scale strings for a 35" scale 6 string bass please?.

DR bass strings work well for longer scale basses as well as string through body basses. I used them on a Lakland bass with no issues.

If you play compressed or ground roundwounds you may try GHS, Labella, RotoSound & (thanks to this forum) Pyramid

Where did you buy the Pyramid strings from? I've been looking for a set for my Series 1.

Alembic strings are pretty good, as are the DR's.

Also, juststrings.com carries the Pyramids. They are a great place to get strings.

I always order through Just Strings. They offer a better price and are very dependable on delivery. Free polishing cloth? Where's mine??? They always send me free little bags of picks. I just throw them in my junk box - Oh I see. Hmmmm, they say Elixir on them. It must be free goodies according to what the string manuafactures are passing out with their strings.

I sit corrected. You are right on the Pyramids. I use round-wounds, and I like Elixir Nanowebs best. Just Strings does have the best price on those I can find. If you can find a better price including shipping, I will happily sit corrected once again, enjoying a savings next time I purchase a batch.
