http://www.musicianlink.com/

The founder of this company is friends with my aunt and uncle out in Indiana (that's how I heard about this). Thought that some Alembic Club members might find remote jamming an interesting concept.

That sounds pretty killer! I need to get faster DSL, as I only have 1MB Downstream/ 360K up, but I'm seriously considering this as a way to jam with other Alembic Club members.

It looks like it would interface with your Recording Software (MIDI Device), so you'd be able to have Studio quality recordings of your jam sessions.

I can think of at least a dozen people I would like to jam with from the Club, off the top of my head.

Who else is in?

Peace All;)

I ran the speed test they provided, and my upload speed was nowhere near fast enough.

Me neither. I'm in the process of preparing for a gig for which we will have a grand total of 1 full rehearsal: I was hoping this would have been a solution to that problem.

My upload speed was way too low.
I do not want to reconfigure my firewall and be open to viruses or other e-nasties.
Oh well.... I guess I will have to jam the traditional way
It is a great concept though.
