Let's go! Do you want to charter a flight or just meet up there?
How do you say Drunken Bunnies in Dutch?

The smiley :-) is definitely Mica's signature. She set it up at the start of the club, I think.

Hips

Paul the bad one

BTW it's Flemish we talk and yes ***sigh*** it IS related with the lingo spoken in The Netherlands. A kind of US/UK thing.

Sam:

Nothing against Epics, brother, but there are 14 basses and only six levels of posterhood. Not to mention the guitars...

Brother Paul
Sorry, for some reason I was thinking Dutch. I hope that's not a point of contention. I get the US/UK reference. The same but not really.

Okay...

Stuff the smileys in a silk stocking, drown them in beer, run them over with a Harley, ship them to Belgium via UPS just to be sure they're really dead, then murmur some prayer for them in Elvish, bury them beneath a new tree that will grow up to become an Alembic, figure out how many pictures we're going to demand, and how many posts will need to be written in the process... and we can finally get back on topic.

What were we talking about, anyway?

You know, David, that's a very good point. So if Mr. Wickersham, himself, were to post would he be "new"?
That would seem rather odd.

A hearty congrats to you!! Look at how much you've accomplished today!! I AM joking! Moving from Junior to Member was memorable. Becoming an Intermediate Member was an absolute heart-stopper. I hope I can live up the the lofty expectations that come with promotion to Advanced Member! (With more thoughtful, provocative and informative posts like this one, my goal looms closer, closer, closer...)

Hey David, my mom is now a moderator. I couldn't see a way to crown her, but at least she's no junior.

Mica must have crowned me recently and forgot to invite me to the ceremony, 'cause last time I looked

Yes I'm just a junior
Yes I'm only a junior
And I'm posting more than ever before

(Sung to I'm just a "Bill" Schoolhouse Rock one of Mica's favorites)

Okay, look, this just isn't the right forum for this mother-daughter stuff ("she's no junior", "yes I am")...

I can't think of a single word to describe either of you ("moderator" doesn't even come to mind), but seeing back-to-back posts from you two is a rare treat.

Looking forward to seeing you both in person again in a few weeks.

Henri, thanks!

Maybe the next level up could be:
Conductor

(for Moderator)

I'm just happy I'm not doing this on a 300 baud suction cup modem like in the good old days...

Brother Henri,

I don't own this bass (alas) but I had the occasion to play it for 1 hour in Edwins shop. Veeeeeeeery smooth and beautiful sounding.
Well made. It IS and STAYS a favourite of mine. Now you have to understand I like many basses. I have that problem with woman too which is far worse ... as a problem!

Hey guys and gals. I have a neighbor that plays bass professionally. He is a Sadowsky freak. He has as many of those as I have Alembics.

I don't get it.

But that's ok, neither does he!
