As I'm typing this down it's only three more days to go before my boss closes shop for a month and head off to spain with his family, which means that my own vacation is also nearing and I need it BADLY. I'm wrecked, we had to work double, even triple shifts to get orders out that should have been done sooner and the boss added another project for two six string bass guitars to be ready by next Wednesday and shipped to Japan. Add to the fact that my band is now in the studio working on new material and I just finished a five hour recording session playing my Gibson Les Paul Junior on the whole thing. And that I hurt my back while helping a friend of mine move to a new apartment, for the last two weeks I have been in constant pain and it isn't helped by the fact that I constantly had to help haul and carry stuff around, wether it being amps into the recording studio, furniture in the new condo of that buddy of mine or wood to make guitars from at my work, it's a severe attack on my spine, and when I go lie down in bed it just doesn't stop hurting. There's a saying in my native language that goes "De laatste loodjes wegen het zwaartst." which means "The very last pounds weigh the heaviest." and it certainly goes for me. So as soon as my boss closes shop I think I'm gonna go to a spa, get my spine fixed and relax. | ||
