welcome noni

do you have an alembic bass or something else if its an alembic then u should post some pictures as they will be requested

there is one certain way to improve and that is to practice every day practice scales and other theory to help with selecting the right notes i am sure some of the more experienced bass players will beable to offer more practical advice but bottom line you have to practice.

Welcome to the group! If you want to play like John Patitucci as soon as possible then, like Mint Bass said, practice every day; scales, arpeggios, left and right hand technique, music theory, groove, melody.

I've heard of Casiopea, but I don't think I've heard any of their music. Does anyone know of a web site with sound clips?

Found something. These are clips from Tetsuo Sakurai's album Gentle Hearts with guitarist Greg Howe and drummer Dennis Chambers.

English is not my native language, but these "typos" seemed a bit artificial to me. Just check the user profile, brothers ...

BTW: amel = alem ... ?
