so i've been listening to the band Tool a lot lately and their bassist(Justin Chancellor) does some pretty unique things. aside from being an all around fantastic bassist, he often uses a Digitech Bass Whammy to come up with awesome solos/fills. so i was just wondering if anyone on here has experience with one and how they liked it. i've been wanting to get one ever since i started messing with my brothers effects POD for guitar and found the "whammy" setting. only downside is having to spend $$$$$$$$ on one :-/

thanks

i've used them extensively, and i love them. i say "them" because i've had more than one taken over by fellow band members. i had a guitar play ask to borrow one, only for him to permanently attach it to his pedal board.
anyway, yeah. awesome pedal, definitely worth the money. if you want to hear someone use one more extensively, listen to Reed Mathis on the Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey record All Is One (which is kind of hard to find, but he's on Slow Breath, Silent Mind using it a lot too).
