is there a future?.....imagine the rehersal studio or your crib with the aromas of the PUREST of scents!, and imagine someone asking "wow", you smell so pure & clean today whats that youre wearing? and were can i get some? ......thoughts on this any one? (alembic, what do you think?)

what, does zebrawood have a good scent to it? mine is walnut, but it doesnt smell like nuts.

It's a running joke around here. Zebrawood stinks rather badly when fresh. The oder goes away, mine's 10 years old and smells fine. I think it was Susan who described it a smelling like a wet dog when it's cut.

Walnut is fast becoming my favorite along with Zebrawood for appearence.

zebra does look good!.....i didnt know that it smelled when freshly cut. but hey, 'the alembic aroma therapy' thing i think is brilliant!,,,,i mean lets face it, us musicians(some of us) "can use a cover" for that all too common smell that permeates most rehearsal rooms (need i say what that smell is?)

I`m make my own bassguitars. Now I´m making one with a body with two big parts of Zebrawood. Its dry and a coupple of years old...but it still smelled when I worked with it...
