Okay, do not misunderstand the thread topic!! Does anyone here own a Durham Sex Drive boost pedal? I'm thinking about getting one for live and studio applications, and I've heard they have great compression and tone. Any thoughts on this pedal?? Greg |

Lol, I'm starting to guess that if this thread was about this "Little Shack" you are talking about, I would've gotten way more replies! Greg |

I have never seen one of these, let alone auditioned it... but the youtube link provided by Durham makes it seem very appealing. Lately I have been stocking up on clean boosts and overdrives and have become enamored of two: Xotic EP Booster, and Phat Tone by Carson Lane FX. The Xotic is very, very clean with some added low end, and sounds a lot like this Sexdrive. The Phat Tone definitely has some grit in it, but not to the point I would call it an "overdrive." I named mine "True Grit", and I think Mike Stephens at Carson Lane is going to adopt that name for it. Neither of them muck up your sound. Happy hunting!
