I finally decided after all these years to rack my goodies...anyone have experience with a foam or rubber shockmount case? Is it worth the extra money? It will be used locally, transported via car/van, and not trucked across the country. Any problems with normal wear of the shock absorbing materials (foam softening, rubber hardening)?

And, would a case like this help in isolating the amp/effects units from the cabinet and potentially avoid any 'buzzing' noises that sometimes seem to appear?

Sorry for all the questions...thanks for listening.
Chris
