Lots of mayo. Maine, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia McDonald's seem to have it as a standard item, at least in the Summer.. No idea WHAT'S in them, but evidently not a new development in some markets, anyway. I've been teaching myself to cook as I'm just so outdone with most restuarants, so many chain joints and so few handmade, individually run places, and it's very hard to find my Texas and Louisiana faves in Tennessee. It was all worth it now that I can make brisket, red beans and rice, and as good a Muffaletta sammich as I could get at the Central Market in the French Quarter! It's on a split-top bun with some shredded lettuce. Don't knock it 'til you try it. Subway has had a seafood sandwich for-e-ver. And yes, I generally try to stay away from fast food. Sometimes when I travel it's the quickest/easiest way to eat though. Evertime my wife and I go there we try something new and have yet to be dissappointed.
