Was wondering if you knew the band The force? I was down your way at the weekend to catch up with friends we haven't seen for over 10 years to find that he's now the drummer with this band (having been with lizzy tribute Black Rose for years). We saw The Force in Consett on saturday night and I was blown away. It's all hard rock so maybe not to everyone's taste but they're excellent musicians. if you get the chance to see them I'd recommend them. They gig down your way quite a bit. Not my scene at all but very good at what they do.
